Chalfont Borough Council will conduct a public hearing on LERTA and Revitalization Tax Assistance to consider the adoption of a proposed ordinance that will designate an area of the borough eligible for a tax exemption.
The Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance Act (LERTA) designation would provide tax exemptions for new construction of industrial, commercial or other business property and improvements to industrial, commercial or other business property within the LERTA area.
